The Writer's Inspiration

"What type would you like?" Helaine asked as he let him go, going into the kitchen.

"What kinds do you have?" Mira asked, frowning faintly.

"Just about any kind you can imagine" Helaine said as he opened two cupboards full of teas.

Mira hesitantly got up and joined him in the kitchen. "Do you have raspberry?" he asked timidly.

"I do" Helaine said, getting an envelope which he opened and put the tea into a cup before getting his own.

"Why do you have so much tea?" Mira asked quietly, sitting down at the table.

"my mother's hobby, she has way too much time on her hands since my father travels a lot for his work" Helaine said as he poured hot water into both mugs.

Mira nodded slowly. "So, she collects teas and gives them to you?" he asked.

"She makes them and sends them to me.." Helaine said, setting the tea in front of him.

Mira's eyes widened slightly. "She makes them?" he asked.

"She does, she lives in the country so she grows as many of the ingredients as she can and the others she only buys the best quality" Helaine said, smelling his tea which is more fragrant than normal teas.

Mira nodded slightly. "That sounds nice," he said quietly, placing his hands around his own mug of tea to warm them.

Helaine nodded, sipping his tea.

Mira let his hands warm up before he sipped at his own tea. "How did the rest of the photo shoot go?" he asked, keeping his eyes on his tea.

"it went really well. I just need to start showing what songs i've made and they'll decide which ones i since, record them then sell it as a CD" Helaine said, putting the cup back down.

Mira nodded slightly. "That's good, right?" he asked.

"Yeah, plus I made sure I liked my contract...not that they were happy with it" helaine said with a chuckle.

"What's your contract like?" Mira asked and sipped at his tea again.

"Pretty much, my private life stays private, I don't want anyone knowing what I really look like etc etc ect' Helaine said, he had made sure he could have a private life with Mira so they could still go on dates.

Mira smiled faintly. "That's good," he replied. He smiled and looked up at him. "A modern day Hannah Montana." He paused. "Only, in guy form."

"I suppose so...but I'd hope i was sexier than her" Helaine said with a wink.

Mira nodded slightly. "You were," he replied. "Even the photographer thought so," he mumbled, sipping his tea again.

Helaine chuckled. "He'll just have to relieve himself some other way since i'll never look his way, I've already got someone" he said, smiling at Mira.

Mira looked up at him and blushed faintly. "You do?" he whispered. He didn't know whether to believe that it was him or it was someone else. He was really hoping it was him...

"I do, I'm having tea with him right now" Helaine said with a smile before sipping his hot tea.
