The Writer's Inspiration

Mira sighed and smiled faintly. He curled up close to him, getting the blankets over him and laid awake. He didn't want to make Helaine too uncomfortable when he woke up, since sleeping beside someone took a lot more guts than fucking them.

Helaine slept for a couple of hours before waking up, feeling refreshed.

Mira had his head rested against his arm and was lying with his back to Helaine, gently spooning with him. He stared ahead, his eyes occasionally drifting closed as he tried to stay awake; it had been harder than he imagined it would be.

Helaine woke up by this time. "Why not sleep?" He whispered softly.

Mira jumped faintly and looked back at him. "I-I didn't want to make you uncomfortable or anything," he whispered.

"Not really, doubt you could make me uncomfortable unless you wanted a threesome" Helaine said as he got up, naked still.

Mira shook his head. "I don't ever want to have another one of them," he said quietly.

"then you couldn't make me unconfortable" Helaine said as he put on his pants before going into the kitchen. He hummed while he put on the kettle for tea.

Mira sat up, watching him quietly and he sighed faintly, staying quiet.

"Would you like any tea or anything for breakfest?" Helaine asked as he got himself a mug out.

"Sure," Mira replied. "Same as last night?"

"Raspberry?" Helaine asked as he got another mug out.

"Please," Mira replied. He winced faintly as he pulled on his own jeans but quickly hid his pain as he joined Helaine in the kitchen.

"Would you like anything to eat?" Helaine asked as he put the two different kinds of tea into the mugs.

Mira sat down at the table and shook his head slightly. "Not at the moment," he replied.

"Alright" Helaine said, putting two pieces of english muffins in the toaster.

Mira watched him quietly, leaning against his arm against the table. He was so tired but he didn't want to sleep and he knew he wouldn't be able to even if he tried.

Helaine walked over to him, kissing his lips. "Would you rather go home today?"

Mira looked up at him and shook his head slightly. "But I guess I'll have to huh?" he asked quietly.

"You don't have to but you look really tired" Helaine said before kissing his cheek.

"Ya," Mira muttered and smiled faintly. "I should learn to bring my medication with me," he mumbled with a yawn.

"Then shall we just pick up your medication then and come back?" Helaine asked, pouring the hot water into the two mugs.

"You don't mind doing that?"

"Not at all" Helaine said, handing him his tea before putting butter on his english muffins.

Mira took the tea and blew on it a bit before taking a sip. "Thank you," he whispered.
