Oasis of Time

Amelia smiled. "yes, very much true"

Tutankhamun smiled and nodded. "And here I was worried you'd end up forgetting me," he whispered.

"I'll never forget you or the time I've spent here. I'll tell our child this tale until they beg me to stop since it's been engraved in their minds" Amelia said with a giggle.

The Pharaoh chuckled. "I get the feeling they'll get tired of it very soon," he said playfully.

"I have several years before they get tired of it" Amelia said with a giggle.

Tutankhamun chuckled. "Well, that's good," he said softly.

"I'll never marry another man but you" Amelia whispered, closing her eyes.

Tutankhamun smiled faintly and lightly kissed her cheek. "We only have a few days," he whispered. "Do you think it's possible we can do that in that time?"

Amelia blushed. "Surely no one would accept it!"

"I would," Tutankhamun replied softly. "And it may not work in your time, but at least we'll know, right?"

Amelia nodded. "Kay" She said with a smile, at least their child wouldn't be a bastard.

Tutankhamun smiled and kissed Amelia's lips. "Then it's settled," he whispered. "I'll take you as my wife."

Amelia blushed as she imagined them married, kissing him back.

Tutankhamun smiled. "I'll have to get the preparations ready," he said softly.

"Alright" Amelia said, letting go of him.

Tutankhamun smiled and lightly kissed her lips again. "Enjoy your bath, my love," he whispered before getting up.

"I will" Amelia said with a smile as she watched him.

Tutankhamun smiled and climbed out of the pool, grabbing a towel to dry himself off a bit before he walked out of the room.

Amelia washed herself before getting out, drying herself off.

It wasn't until much later that night that she finally saw Tutankhamun again and he smiled happily when he saw her, going to her and pulling her into a close embrace as he kissed her lips.

Amelia smiled, hugging him back as she returned the kiss.

Tutankhamun smiled. "It's set for tomorrow morning," he whispered softly. "Is that alright?"

"Of course it's alright"Amelia said with a bright smile.

The Pharaoh smiled and kissed her lips again before he paused. "Um, I'm sure your ways of marriage are different than ours. Is there anything you'd like to have done?" he asked softly.

Amelia shook her head. "Doing it your way would be much more interesting" she said with a smile.
