The Writer's Inspiration

"A very special spot I see" Helaine said with a grin.

Mira looked away as if ashamed. "M-my Achilles heel," he muttered quietly.

"nothing wrong with that, I have one too" Helaine said leaning close and licked the spot.

Once again, Mira arched his back, only this time he released another moan, his heart starting to pound and his body getting hot.

"So...are you going to use me as a model for a novel?" Helaine asked, getting him to lay down.

Mira blushed and looked over at him. "I-I kind of already have," he murmured.

"oh? tell be about it" Helaine said, snuggling close.

Mira blushed, chewing his lip slightly before he started telling him about this new character he was writing about. For the most part, it sounded exactly like Helaine.

"You sure know how to capture someone and write about them" Helaine said with a blush.

Mira blinked and an uneasy look passed over his face. "I-I'm sorry. I can change it if you want," he said quickly.

"no no that's alright" Helaine said with a smile.

"A-are you sure?" Mira asked uneasily. "I-I don't want you to be upset with it or anything."

"Very sure" Helaine said, kissing Mira's cheek.

Mira watched him quietly and nodded, feeling suddenly extremely tired and then remembered that he had taken two Advil PM's a short while ago; they were now starting to kick in, although he knew they wouldn't last for long.

"Shall I leave you to sleep?" Helaine asked, noting he was tired.

Mira looked over at him and shrugged. "If you want," he murmured.

"Well you've had a long day" Helaine said, getting off the bed.

Mira shuddered as fear passed through his tired eyes before he nodded. "I-I'm sorry," he whispered.

"It's not your fault, get some sleep. You know where I am if you need me" Helaine said and kissed his cheek.

Mira nodded and curled up in the makeshift bed. He was asleep before Helaine even got to his room. However, Mira's slumber didn't last long and a few hours later he was awoken by one of the horrible nightmares that typically plagued his sleep when he didn't take his proper medication. He sat up on the bed and hugged his knees to his chest, hiding his face in them as tears slowly rolled down his cheeks. He was utterly silent as he sat there, staring at the blanket and he was quietly watching a cartoon when Helaine got up the next morning. He looked over at him as Helaine came out of his room and smiled faintly, looking absolutely exhausted. "Morning," he said softly to him. "Sleep well?"

"Didn't sleep?" Helaine asked, sitting by him.

Mira shrugged slightly. "Slept for a few hours," he replied, shifting to lie on his back to see the man better. "But that's about it."

"Then shall I help you sleep?" Helaine asked, laying next to him, hugging him close.

Mira looked over at him. "How are you going to do that?" he asked.

Helaine started singing softly.
